Parquet patterns and bespoke panel designs — Versailles, mosaics, scrolls and stars.
9 floors in this collection
This is the collection for floors that become the room. Basket-weave, Versailles panels and mosaic parquet are the historic patterns of grand interiors, reworked here in engineered oak so they can be lived on, heated from below, and fitted without the fragility of antique block.
Where planks and herringbone set a calm background, a pattern floor is a statement — a geometry that draws people to look down as well as around. We supply the panels pre-assembled for accuracy and lay them to a balanced centre so the repeat reads correctly across the whole space.
Basket-weave interlocks blocks into a woven square for a quiet, rhythmic texture. Versailles is the classic diagonal-lattice panel of French châteaux, framed by a border. Mosaic and bespoke panel designs let us build something specific to a room — a hallway medallion, a bordered dining floor, or a repeating motif drawn for a single project.
All are engineered oak, so a centuries-old pattern arrives on a stable, modern core that copes with underfloor heating and everyday family life.
Pattern floors love a room with presence — an entrance hall, a formal dining room, a showroom or a hotel lobby. For a calmer geometry, our herringbone and chevron collections give pattern without the full theatre, and our bespoke service can colour-match any panel to the rest of an interior.
Individual blocks within a panel can be lifted and replaced by a skilled fitter, but matching tone and finish matters — keep any spare panels from the original order, as we recommend with every pattern floor.
Yes. We regularly draw bespoke panels and borders for a specific room and have them made in engineered oak to match the chosen finish.
Yes — because the panels are engineered oak rather than solid block, they are well suited to underfloor heating when fitted with the correct adhesive and acclimatisation.
