About Kensington Lattice

Part of our Pattern & Panel collection, it is genuine engineered oak — a real oak wear layer over a stable core, built to hold its shape over underfloor heating and through changing seasons. The matt lacquer gives a hard-wearing, low-maintenance surface that shrugs off daily family life while keeping the look of raw, unfinished oak.

Where this floor works

Set as a parquet panel, it becomes the feature of the room — ideal for an entrance hall, dining room or any space that can carry a floor with real presence. every board is supplied and fitted by our own Cambridge team, or supplied on its own for your fitter.

Caring for your floor

Day to day it asks for very little: sweep or vacuum the grit that actually wears a floor, wipe spills promptly, and clean with a barely-damp microfibre and a wood-floor cleaner rather than a soaking mop.

Is Kensington Lattice suitable for underfloor heating?

Yes. Kensington Lattice is engineered oak, which is designed to cope with the gentle expansion and contraction of underfloor heating far better than solid wood, provided it is fitted with the correct adhesive and properly acclimatised first.

Can you lay Kensington Lattice to match an existing pattern?

Often, yes. Bring a photo or an offcut to the showroom and we will help match the block size, tone and direction as closely as the current range allows before fitting.
